Take an inside visit to Park Güell and Sagrada Família and a closer look to the two masterpiece houses: Casa Pedrera and Casa Batlló.
Gaudí, one of the greatest innovators of his time, has left behind numerous treasures in his favorite city of Barcelona. The tour will start with a morning visit to Park Güell. This fantastical place is like an oasis on one of the highest parts of Barcelona, boasting with unique panorama over the entire city. Once you enter through its doors you will feel like you're in a fairy-tale which was the goal of the architect. Designed to be a living place for the wealthiest people in the town at the beginning of 20th century, this project was left behind later to become a public park. Here you will find the House-Museum where Gaudí was living while working at the park; the two famous Hansel-and-Gretel gatehouses; colorful tiled bench; mosaic dragon and 86 stone columns holding the enormous platform of the famous terrace, where you can enjoy one of the most photographed views of Barcelona.
Continue to La Sagrada Família (Holy Family) Cathedral, the Modernist architecture gem. Have a closer look at the façades and visit this extraordinary temple! In order for a proper send-off of this tour,you must also visit the most representative area of the city, built in this famous Catalan modernist style, L’Eixample neighborhood. Take a walk down Passeig de Gràcia and enjoy this wide wonderful avenue where every building is an architectural jewel. Your guide will pay special attention to the Gaudí civil works on this street - Casa Milà (also known as Casa Pedrera) and Casa Batlló.
