Get lost in the most enchanting part of Barcelona – the beautiful Gothic Quarter and prepare your camera to chase its secrets!
Discover one of the oldest parts of the city, full of historically rich pinpoints to be found around every corner. Apart of the most popular touristic spots, you will be surprised by the hidden treasures that this unique neighborhood is hiding.
This activity is an exciting way to discover the medieval spirit of Barcelona through the lens of a digital camera, while being part of a real adventure.
You will be split into small working teams of 5 or less people and every group will receive 5 black & white photographs of emblematic sites in the Gothic Quarter – it can be buildings, monuments or even squares. A map and a camera for every team is all that you will be given, and that will be the most intriguing part of the challenge – the need to interact with the locals, and to search the places of the photos, while every team is racing for time.
Once you stumble onto the hidden treasures, you have to find the exact locations where each of the photo was taken and replicate them, by using the camera. The team’s goal is to transmit the same feeling of the original photos of these amazing historic spots.
The winning team is the one to finish first with all their five photos, but also to be reasonable replications of the originals.
